Google might not be the best people finder on the Internet, but it's not a bad place to start. It's easy enough to enter someone's name and location into the Google search box and see what comes up. Plus, the reverse phone number lookup feature is a nice way to find out just who it was who wrote their phone number on a napkin at that party last week.

More seriously, Google is also a good way to find out just how much information about you is out there on the Internet. Remember, if you can find it, everyone else can, tooincluding potential employers. While there might not be anything you can do about it, it's better to know what's out there than to be blindsided at a later date.
