Chapter 35. Using Google Pack

If you like the Google applications we've discussed in this section and throughout the rest of this book, you'll probably like Google Pack, too. Google Pack is, in Google's words, "a free collection of essential software."

In essence, Google Pack lets you download the best of Google's software applications, as well as a handful of useful third-party applications, in one fell swoop. A few clicks of your mouse lets you download the entire Google Pack, and installation of the individual programs is pretty much a one-step process. It's a convenient way to get a lot of useful programs in one simple package.
