Summary

And there you have it—a functioning Web site that is replete with JavaScript examples. While it would have been possible (maybe) to create the site sans JavaScript, the overall effect and functionality would not have been nearly as good. Indeed, the Center Park administrators presented you, as designer, with some fairly significant challenges. What you have delivered to them—if you've been following along with all the project chapters, including this wrap-up chapter—is a strong foundation, a Web site that meets their initial requirements but is flexible enough (and well coded) to allow them a strong avenue for future customization. Also, all of the target audiences have been addressed, so that students, teachers, and parents all have a (good) reason to visit the site, and visit it often. By using the code in the Center Park Project as a functional reference, as well as reviewing the fundamental JavaScript instruction presented in Part I, you should be able to neatly and efficiently implement JavaScript into your own projects. Happy coding!
