13.6. SummaryMany plug-ins will need to create and manage their own plug-in-specific resources. While preferences are global settings applicable to entire plug-ins and chunks of functionality, properties are local settings applicable to a single resource. This chapter explored the Eclipse property API and discussed the various choices open to the developer for accessing properties using the Properties view or the Properties dialog. It also demonstrated how to persist properties across workspace sessions. ReferencesChapter source (www.qualityeclipse.com/projects/source-ch-13.zip).
