Blogging from the Google Toolbar

Thanks to Blogger being part of the Google family, there's another way to create blog posts. Assuming you have the Google Toolbar installed, you can reference any web page you visit in a new Blogger post. Here's how it works.

1.
Navigate to a web page that you want to blog about.

2.
From the Google Toolbar, shown in Figure 23.10, click Send To, Blogger.

3.
When the Blog This! window appears, as shown in Figure 23.11, the name of the page appears in the main text window as a link. (It also appears as the title of this new post.) You can add more text, if you like, or change the title of the post.

4.
When you're done creating the new post, click the Publish Post button. Any posts you create in this manner are published to your blog exactly the same as posts created from within the Blogger site. It's a quick and easy way to make note of interesting items you find on the Web!
